   After its debut earlier this week, we now have a closer look at renowned industrial designer Marc Newson‘s NikeLabAir VaporMax. The bold sneaker boasts a captivating combination of contrasting textiles and colors that we rarely see on traditional runners. Moreover, this silhouette is the first hi-top rendition of the new VaporMax model to emerge, adopting the Swoosh’s trendy sock-inspired collar. In terms of textiles and colors, the shoe incporporates a forest green Flyknit upper, vegetable-tanned leather on the Velcro straps and mudguard, and an icy bubble cushioned midsole to complete the avant-garde trifecta. Contrast crisscross stitching along the leather panels and embossed Swoosh and MN branding on the heel counter add a subtle touch of luxury to the designer pair.

   The Marc Newson x NikeLab Air VaporMax will launch on Air Max Day at select retailers such as Social Status on March 26 for a retail price of $275 USD.
